QINNÄMÖN (ancient Hebrew) = Cinnamon (Cassia) (Spices).
QUATRE-ÉPICES is the standard French "four-spice" blend. A typical recipe calls for 5 parts pepper, 2 parts nutmeg, and 1 part each of cloves and ginger. Also, Allspice (Spices) is known by this name in France. To further confuse, Nigella Seed (Spices) is also sometimes called this in France.
QUEYNEL, FLOR DE (med. England) = Cassia Buds (Spices).
