* To our American customers -- the U.S. government has made a requirement that all shipments of food items to the United States must be pre-registered and authorized by the FDA before being sent. We have not yet figured out the cumbersome and time-consuming process, so for the present we cannot ship food items to the United States. We can ship books, dyestuffs, and other non-food items, however. We do hope to sort it out and be able to ship to the U.S. again fairly soon in the future, so please check back.

We apologize for the complexity of these rates, but blame them on Canada Post, which created such confusion. We have simply added $1.00, our handling charge, to the set postal rates. (P.S. We have no idea why small parcels are cheaper to the Eastern U.S. (or Mongolia) than to Western Canada - we didn't make it up.)
