HORSE MINT = Mentha longifolia. [we do not at present carry this].
HORSERADISH = Cochlearia armorica or Armoracia rusticana [we do not at present carry this].

HUMLE (Swedish) = HOPS.
HUASCAS = GUASCAS.
Humulus lupulus = HOPS.
HYSOPE (French) = Hyssop (Spices).
HYSOPUS (ancient Rome) = Hyssop (Spices).
Hyssop (Spices) = Hyssopus officinalis. This is the hyssop of the medieval and more recent eras. The hyssop of the Bible (Old Testament) is said to be a variety of marjoram, Origanum maru var. aegypticum, while that of the New Testament is said to be Sorghum vulgare var. durra.
