About Us...

Good Day and Welcome to Canada !

Well, first let us introduce you to us, the Glass family:

View the Okanagan Lake from the Mountains Behind our HouseIn 1996, we moved from Germany with a family of four (now son 11, daughter 25). Neither getting the papers, nor managing the move was easy. However, with God's help and the support of the friendly Canadians anything is possible. Now, we call the beautiful Okanagan Valley (British Columbia, Canada) our home. You know, it is true when they say: "Beautiful British Columbia". If you come here we'll show you, too.

Anyway, following many requests from parts of Europe and around the world, we decided to open a B&B with a different touch so that everyone can experience the unique setting of the Okanagan Valley and see other parts of Canada.

-- Everybody is Welcome: Relatives, Friends, and Those that Want to Become Friends! --

Come and see...

Sun-down in the Okanagan ValleyWe offer more than just accommodation. Our mission is to add a special touch to traditional B&B. Please feel free to browse through our site to find out more. Don't forget to sign our guest book.

Where are we ? ..

The Canadian MapBritish Columbia (BC) - the most westerly province of Canada is widely known for it's unique climate. The geography and location allows for a landscape of sharp contrasts:
Rain forest and desert, white water and quiet alpine lakes, Rocky Mountains and Pacific Ocean, Bears and Colibris, miles of wilderness and Metropoles, First Nations and cowboy romantic...

British Columbia's South-west Corner The Okanagan Valley is positioned in the center of BC and is internationally known for the unusual climate. Who would expect to find Mediterranean weather in CANADA? Long The tourist...warm summers and short snowy winters are representative for our Okanagan climate. Peaches, grapes and apricots are among Okanagan harvests.

Oh yes, there is also OGOPOGO. Who is that ? Well, it is the "Lake Monster" of the 120-km-long Okanagan Lake. Whether it is fact or story, photos have been shot and hi-tech underwater scientists searched for it (Japanese in 2000). Maybe, you'll see him around...don't worry he supposedly does not bite!
