THE ENGLISH CONNECTION:
We share common great-great-grandparents Jabez Hazlewood and Mary Hobbs.

2000July - Tickner Family in England: Joan, Barb, Pam, Evelyn and Ron in Joan and Ron's garden

THE IRISH CONNECTION:
We share common great-grandparents Alfred Hazlewood and Sarah Savage.

1920 - Eileen Niall, daughter of Michael Malone and Edith May Hazlewood. This photo is on a page with others labelled "Ireland" so it may have been taken in Ireland.
1927 September - Michael Malone, Edith May Hazlewood and daughters Eileen and Nora in Tottenham, England.
Nora, born in 1906, was raised by her grandparents in New Jersey, USA as her father was stationed in Singapore. When Michael Malone retired, the family moved to Tottenham, England and lived at 310 Mount Pleasant Road until Edith May died there in 1933. Eileen married Eddy Malone in 1933 and she and Eddy, as well as Michael soon moved to Ireland. Nora was married to Mr. Stager in the US.
1995 - Children of Eileen Niall and Eddy Malone: Michael, Brian, Eamonn, David and Sheila
This photo was taken at the wedding of Brian's eldest daughter Kirsten.
Niall Malone, son of Eamonn Malone is third from the left in the rear.
Michael Paul Malone and his grandson Jamie, son of Simon.

THE AMERICAN CONNECTION:
My great-grandparents Alfred Hazlewood and Sarah Savage emigrated to New Jersey USA in 1911/2. Grandchild Nora Niall and three of their daughters lived in America as well. Some of the photos here came from the "Irish Connection". Many of the people are not positively identified.

The Hazlewood Family about 1896. This photo was sent to me by my father's cousin. Alfred and Sarah are shown with daughters Lilian, Edith, Maude, Ethel, Hilda and Dora. Hilda died in 1906 before the family moved to America.
My great grandmother, Sarah Savage Hazlewood is marked with the X. The woman on the right is likely daughter Ethel. There is no title or date on the photo.
"Auntie Ethel and Hubby in America" is the title on this photo. Ethel married Paul Hiemien who died about 1928. There are 2 children here although Paul and Ethel had one daughter, Ruth. Since Ruth was 4 when her father died, this other girl may be a niece.
"Auntie Ett and Hazel" is the title on this photo. There is no year stated but it is on the same page as the two photos above. I've found no mention of a Hazel so this baby's identity is not known. Is Auntie Ett the mom? Is this Ethel's daughter Ruth Hazlel?
This photo is labelled "1926 Group (Richmond)" My great grandmother Sarah Savage is on the left. The woman on the right may be Ethel or Edith May.
"1926 America" is the title on this page. This is Sarah Savage and her second husband Paul Hansler. We are not sure which granddaughter is with them.
"1926 America" Maude' daughters Dorothy (Dolly), born 1916 and Daphne, born 1913, Millbourn are standing beside an urn made by Grampa Hansler.
"Gran and Group" is Daphne, Sarah and Dolly and appears to have been taken in New Jersey.
"1927 Group (Richmond)", is Sarah in the front right end. Two of the women in back could be Edith May and Ethel.
"1924 Fenn and Millbourn-Mack Cousins" in Morristown, NJ. The boys are sons of Lilian, girls and baby are children of Maude. From the left are Dolly, 11 yrs, Jack, abt 12 yrs, Edgar, 6mnths, Daphne, 11 yrs and Albert, abt 10.
