The picture above is a view from a hill looking over the City of Kelowna.
It was an interesting and exotic path that brought me here to the beautiful Okanagan Valley of BC and my life as a Middle Aged Beauracrat. But don't let my present position in life fool you; there's a history here with many stories... and a few photos to back them up. Check out my current Photos from the Past

Since 1997, I've been searching for my orphan father's family. I've found my history that goes back to the 1700's and visited 2nd and third cousins in England! Recently, I've found my grandparents family. They emigrated to the US about 1912. Have a look at some photos of my

FAMILY PHOTOS
My last child has left home at the age of 36 to live on the coast. So I will have to traverse the Coquihalla Highway to visit the offspring on the other side of the mountains.

2001 SUMMER HOLIDAY PHOTOS .
Max and I entertained grandchildren for a week. We went camping for a few days and had a great time.

I work as a first level manager of staff who provide social and employment services to the public. I love my job most days but I still can't believe this was my destiny. My favourite work related site keeps that sense of humour happening.
