A suggestion for the two puzzle without a list of words: have the students use the text of John 11 from the NAB version to help them identify words in the word search puzzle. Since the puzzles are large, you might want to have the students work in teams. You might also want to set a time limit from the outset for finding as many words as possible in the version without the lists.
