Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross

     This issue of the Catholic Educators Newsletter focusses on the Seven seven last words of Jesus.
For each of the seven words you will find,

  • a list of links to resources available online that can help better understand and meditate on each word;

  • separate printable sheets with short excerpts from various online resources: prayers, homilies, commentaries, meditations, images... For each excerpt, a link is provided so that you can read the full text from which the excerpts were taken..

Actual announcements from Church Bulletins

Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.

Announcement in the church bulletin for a National PRAYER & FASTING Conference: "The cost for attending the Fasting and Prayer conference includes meals."

The eighth graders will be presenting Shakespeare's "Hamlet" in the church basement on Friday at 7 p.m. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.

This being Easter Sunday, we will ask Mrs. Lewis to come forward and lay an egg on the altar.
